We had several goals in designing the Real Estate Web Application:
- The resulting web site had to be easy for real estate buyers to use and it had to present properties in an appealing format.
- The management features had to make it easy to add and remove properties as well as organize them into categories of the agency's choosing. Managing the site had to be simple and intuitive. The
format had to allow not only properties for sale, but also properties for rent.
- The web site had to be easily configured and had to allow real estate agencies a wide choice of colors, styles, backgrounds, and layouts.
- Training and support had to be rarely needed, but available over the telephone. It had to be simple and interactive, with both the trainer and trainee able to view the entries and changes made by one
another.
